We already know that Ryan O’Neal is a shameless cad who loved all the attention he got while his longtime girlfriend Farrah Fawcett was nearing the end of her battle with cancer. We also heard about how the actor hit on his own adult daughter, Tatum, at Farrah’s funeral – apparently it had been so long since they had seen each other, he didn’t recognize her. So it should be no surprise that Ryan actually found his latest flame, literally, at Farrah’s funeral- and that flame is none other than Cheryl Tiegs, the supermodel from the 70s and 80s.
Nearly a year after the death of his longtime love Farrah Fawcett, Ryan O’Neal is writing a new “Love Story” with former model Cheryl Tiegs. The friendship between Ryan, 69, and Cheryl, 62, has blossomed into romance since they ran into one another at Farrah Fawcett’s funeral last June, The Enquirer has learned.
Around the time of Farrah’s passing, Cheryl had just broken off a 7-year relationship with world explorer and endurance bicyclist Dan Buettner. During the funeral service for the “Charlie’s Angels” star and for months afterward, Cheryl comforted grieving Ryan, who had been with Farrah more than 20 years before she died of cancer. Over the last year, the friendship betweent the “Sports Illustrated” model and the star of “Love Story” grew into a “full-blown love affair,” says a source.
The pair came as a couple to the book-signing party for Raquel Welch’s new memoir, “Beyond the Cleavage,” which was hosted by Alana Stewart at Oscar de la Renta’s boutique in West Hollywood on May 6. A beaming Ryan asked a columnist who was in attendance: “Are you going to mention us as an item?”
“He had his arm around Cheryl’s waist and it was clear that they were very happy together.”

All I can say is…vomit! Ryan O’Neal is lower than pond scum, and I can’t understand why Cheryl Tiegs or any other woman would want anything to do with him. He’s terrible boyfriend material. He can’t keep it in his pants to save his life, even at almost 70 years old, and he’s one of the biggest narcissists in Hollywood – that is really saying something. Not to mention, he’s a horrible father and an attention whore. Maybe when you are a single woman in your 60’s you have to take what you can get. Personally, I’d rather be alone than put up with his bullshit. The whole circumstance of them getting together is a little off-putting. Can you imagine telling people that story with a smile? “We met at my long time girlfriend’s funeral.”
