Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are the talk of the town, and although they try and keep their relationship as under wraps as they can, theyâve both spoken out about when they first met.
The celebrity couple first went public at the end of September, when Taylor Swift was spotted cheering on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs at the Arrowhead Stadium. Of course, that wasnât their first date, and we know from a previous interview with the singer that they were a couple by then. Going by the NFL starâs latest interview, it looks like they may have made it âofficialâ after just a month.

At the end of last year, the music icon candidly opened up about how, and when the biggest celeb romance of the year started up.
âThis all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,â she told TIME. âWe started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which Iâm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.
âBy the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date,â the 34-year-old said.
The NFL star âput Tay on blastâ on his New Heights podcast in July, when he revealed he didnât get to meet her at her Eras Tour and give her the friendship bracelet he made with his number on. Smooth.
âI was disappointed that she doesnât talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings,â he told his brother, Jason Kelce.
So, Tayâs already told us they were a couple by the first game. Recently, Trav opened up on The Pat McAfee Show about Swiftâs first game at the end of September, in which he said: âWe had known each other for close to a month up to that point.â
So going by both Travâs, it would suggest that the pair were officially a couple around a after a month of knowing each other, although Tay did hint it may have been a little longer with the âpodcastâ comment.

The couple wonât be going Red Carpet Official just yet
Tonight marks the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, but unfortunately, we wonât be getting those Red Carpet pics of Traylor just yet. The Cruel Summer singer will be in attendance, however Travis revealed earlier this week that he wouldnât be able to make it.
âI wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that sheâs nominated for,â he said on The Pat McAfee Show. âBut⊠unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big old Super Bowl and we got a week.â
He then revealed that today is a âtravel dayâ for the team, who will be taking on the San Francisco 49ers in Vegas on Feburary 11.
After the Grammys, Taylor will be heading off to Tokyo to carry on her Eras Tour, and some fans feared she may not be able to make it to the Super Bowl on time. However, with time difference taken into consideration, it is highly possible sheâll be able to make the big game.
