Taylor Swift fans lose their minds over 'Travis Kelce cheating' but it's just a joke video

Swifties are in an uproar after watching a viral video that claimed Travis Kelce was caught cheating on Taylor Swift – before feeling ridiculous for believing it.

Whether it’s the hottest celebrity news, or strange and devastating events around the globe. It can be fun for viewers to look back at the top headlines that dominated our conversations and social media feeds, because as fast as news travels, the quicker it’s forgotten. However, some Taylor Swift fans were duped pretty hard this week with his January through to March update. Swifties were in an uproar as he claimed Travis Kelce was caught cheating at the end of last month, as part of the round-up.

Travis Kelce ‘cheating’ in March is included in hot take

The celebrity couple is going from strength to strength, just take his PR tour. The NFL tight end is currently talking to some of the biggest publications to promote his upcoming Kelce Jam festival that will be taking place in Kansas City in springtime.

But as part of the press tour, it’s inevitable the music icon will be brought up in conversation.

The duo have been the hottest couple in Hollywood since Taylor stepped out into that VIP Suite at Arrowhead Stadium last September.

After a whirlwind six months, an SNL mention, Eras Tour appearances and even changing lyrics for Travis on stage – everyone is hoping the pair are end game.

But Mr Grande’s last video has caused a stir, because he ended his clip claiming Travis Kelce was caught cheating on the Lover hitmaker at the end of last month.

Because the rest of the items in the ‘news round-up’ were real, fans didn’t realize the date. The TikTok was released on April 1 – April Fool’s Day. It was a joke.

‘Diabolical’

The clip has been watched more than 14 million times and has 2.5 million likes – after two days of being live.

That didn’t stop Swifties from almost losing their minds, though.

One wrote: “Travis Kelce cheated? WTF”

A second said: “Is this true?,” and another added: “Omg I didn’t know about Travis Kelce”.

While a third followed the moral path by explaining it to others in the comments: “The Travis Kelce [cheating] thing is April Fool’s”, and so did another: “The April Fool’s joke being that Travis Kelce cheated is diabolical”.
