In December 2020, Scheffler married his wife Meredith Scudder. Prior to getting married, the Schefflers dated for six years. They both grew up in Texas, but they attended different universities in the state: Scottie went to the University of Texas, while Meredith went to the University of Texas A&M.

After being Bubba Watson’s caddie for 15 years, Ted Scott then became Scottie Scheffler’s caddie. Scott had planned to back away from caddying, but a call from Scheffler brought him back to golf, and the pair have been a dynamic duo ever since.

Scheffler stands at 6 feet 3 inches tall, making him taller than fellow golfer Jordan Spieth and one of the tallest golfers. He was born on June 21, 1996, meaning the Ridgewood, New Jersey native has achieved success in his sport at a young age. He will turn 27 years old in 2023.
