Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved over to LA in March 2020, as some would say to “live the Hollywood life,” however, it seems like they’ve now been “snubbed” by pals George and Amal Clooney.

The Hollywood stars attended the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2018, but it seems like they’ve now been reportedly snubbed by George and Amal, by not receiving an invite to their star-studded gala held in New York City.

Hollywood is known for its lavish events, one of these being movie star George Clooney and his wife Amal’s Albies, a benefit gala hosted by their foundation. However, Harry and Meghan reportedly didn’t make it on to the list.

An insider close to the pair told Radar Online they were “humiliated” and saddened after being snubbed by the A-listers.

Sources also reportedly told the publication they “felt the cold-shoulder from their pals amid speculation they have been cast out of the Clooney inner circle.”

One insider revealed to the National Enquirer that this was “probably the most hurtful snub” to the former royals, since moving to Hollywood.

“George and Amal went from being their wedding guests and trusted confidants to totally ghosting them,” they claimed.

It is unclear why the Clooney’s aren’t as close to Sussex’s as they once were, however, it seems like they’re still close with King Charles as they appeared at a Prince’s Trust event in London in May.

George Clooney previously defended Meghan Markle

Although it seems like the friendship may have faded now, The Midnight Sky actor actually defended Meghan a year after her wedding, when the bad press started.

In a 2019 interview on British breakfast TV show, Good Morning Britain, the 62-year-old said the coverage of the Duchess “a little unfair at times.”

“.it seemed to me a little unjust since she hadn’t done anything except just happen to live her life,” he said.

“She’s a really kind and smart, intelligent young woman, and they’re a really wonderful, loving couple,” he said of his ‘former’ friends.
