YouTuber PewDiePie has announced the birth, and the name of his first child with his wife, internet personality, Marzia Kjellberg. Their son, who they named Björn was born on July 11, one day before the couple took to social media to announce the happy news. The couple announced their pregnancy to fans in February of this year.
The 33-year-old Swedish YouTuber, whose real name is Felix, has been on the scene since starting his first channel in 2006. He then created the famous PewDiePie channel in 2010 and has amassed a whopping 111 million subscribers, making him the second most followed individual on YouTube, behind Mr Beast.

The couple announced the birth on Instagram where they announced their son’s name, Björn. In the caption, the pair wrote:
“11 / 07 / 2023 Welcome to the family, little Björn 🐻 ❤️”
The announcement came with an adorable slideshow of photos, the front being a family photo of the three. Along the slides, they each had a separate photo with their newborn son Bjorn, who already has a personalized pair of dungarees!

Within a couple of hours of the post being uploaded, it had already amassed over one million likes, and over 30,000 comments from fans and fellow influencers, who had grown up watching the star, sending their congratulations to the pair.
Others couldn’t help but make puns with Bjorn’s adorable name.

“It’s crazy to think Pewds was raising us for years on YT, now he’s got something of his own to raise,” wrote one emotional fan.
One fan penned: “I was watching Pewdiepie when I was 12, playing Ammesia and now 11 years later seeing him become a father makes me feel old.”

PewDiePie and his wife Marzia, who is also a YouTuber met in 2011. After eight years together, they tied the knot in 2019.
Four years later, they announced they were expecting their first child with a cute social media video.
The two first met after Marzia watched one of Felix’s videos, leading to her connecting with him on Facebook. He then traveled over to Italy to see her, and the rest was history!
