Machine Gun Kelly, aka, MGK, fulfilled a strange request from a fan this week as he punched a fan in the face as he performed in the European country of Belgium. Yes, the fan actually asked the artist to do it via the sign, and although the star was, of course, hesitant at first, he went on to make ‘dreams come true.’
Strange happenings have been going down at concerts lately, as Adele recently warned fans not to throw anything on stage during her Vegas residency, but this incident may be on another level completely. We take a look at what exactly went down at the music show we’re sure concertgoers won’t forget in a hurry. But it looks like Machine Gun Kelly and his fan are on good terms.
MGK punches fan in the face
From having underwear thrown at them on stage to some pretty questionable signs, we’re sure music artists have seen it all. However, we’re not sure many have had a request as strange as this one.
The sign which read: “I came from Mexico just for you to punch me in the face” was held by a concertgoer in the front row.
Upon seeing the sign, the Emo Girl singer said: “Why do you want me to punch you in the face so bad?” I got rings on dude, that s**** gonna hurt.”
He then told the fan it was a “lose/lose” for him and he wasn’t sure if he was going to do it, but would consider it.
It then seemed like the Bloody Valentine singer made his mind up as he proceeded to walk down to the crowd to ‘punch’ the fan in the face, who looked elated as he held his thumbs up.
MGK shouted: “I love you!” as he proceeded to walk back towards the stage.
Fans make jokes in the comments
When fans saw the ‘unusual’ video pop up on their timelines, they obviously had to run to the comments. The 33-year-old posted what looked like a fan edit of the video on his Instagram page alongside the caption: “Making dreams come true.”
“The boy might be missing teeth and still be smiling,” joked one fan.
Another wrote: “That kid has the best story now forever.”
“Yooo bout the best thing I’ve seen on this app in weeks!” exclaimed another.
“He will never stop talking about this day and I’m jealous.”
The fan himself took to his Instagram to share a screenshot of the moment, which he captioned: “The one and only jawbreaker. Thank you very much for punching me in the face.”
MGK’s relationship with Megan Fox
Although the two faced split rumors at the start of the year, it seems like the couple are still going strong, as Megan Fox has been seen supporting MGK at some of his European shows.
The couple first started dating after meeting on the set of the 2021 film, Midnight n the Switchgrass, which they both starred in.
Two years later, in January 2022, the two got engaged, sharing romantic videos of the proposal on their Instagram pages.
