During the Hello Katy Tour, a large inflatable Kitty Purry head was part of the stage design. Fans backstage were able to meet the popular mascot since she joined her for that tour, and many other tours.

In 2018, Nugget made headlines after Perry’s assistant saved Nugget’s life using CPR. Nugget stars alongside Katy Perry in her 2020 music video for “Small Talk.”
