One character I’ve certainly missed seeing on Manifest is TJ, played by actor Garrett Wareing! The character made his debut in the second season of the series who is one of the passengers on Flight 828.

The character is immediately likable and becomes very close to the Stone family, especially Olive. The two start dating and they’re just so precious in my opinion! The last time we see TJ is when he decides to go to Egypt to continue looking into 828 and how it connects to Egyptian mythology.

Though we don’t see him after about halfway through season 2, he is mentioned in later episodes. But we’ve been waiting for him to pop back in. And the good news is, he does in Manifest season 4!

Olive is honestly one of the smartest characters on the series. She’s the one who has cracked the code and made the complicated connections the most. And the person who she usually has by her side helping her through it is TJ!

Warning: Spoilers for Manifest season 4 part 1 below!

Season 4 suggests the two have stayed in contact with Olive keeping the teen informed about her discoveries. When she makes her latest one about sapphire and how it could be used to generate limitless Callings, it’s TJ she tries to get a hold of. He doesn’t answer her calls, and there’s a reason for it. He was on a flight back to NYC, and the two are reunited at the end of episode 8!

In the final two episodes of season 4 part 1, we see that the two are dating again (I’m not sure if they ever took a break, or they were together long-distance). TJ supports Olive when she’s upset about potentially losing Cal, and the two help Michaela, Saanvi, and Eagan find the Omega Sapphire. The dream team also makes the discovery about Draco, the dragon constellation in the final episode of season 4 part 1.

TJ is definitely just as smart as Olive, and a big asset to figuring out the 828 mystery. We’re so glad he’s back. This couple can truly figure anything out when they work together!

Manifest season 4 part 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
