If you’re a Netflix Lifer and a reality TV fan, you’ll be glad to know that the streamer has added Love Island USA to its catalog. Yes, you read that right. Love Island USA is now available to stream on Netflix. Who would’ve thought? We sure didn’t!
If you’re unfamiliar with the reality series, Love Island USA is a matchmaking game that follows a group of lucky singles who come together in a tropical paradise to look for love, with one couple winning a hefty cash prize. Sound familiar? It’ll easily remind you of Netflix reality series like Too Hot to Handle and Dated & Related.
Love Island USA is based on the smash-hit British series of the same name. For its first three seasons, the show aired on CBS. But in February 2022, it was picked up for a fourth and fifth season at Peacock.
Now, we did mention that the reality series is streaming on Netflix, but we didn’t say how many seasons of the show are available. Below, we shared which seasons are streaming on Netflix as of Dec. 2022.
As of Dec. 1, 2022, Netflix only carries one season of the popular reality series. It’s the first season featuring contestants, such as Elizabeth Weber, Zac Mirabelli, Alexandra Stewart, Caroline “Caro” Viehweg, Kyra Green, Katrina Dimaranan, Emily Salch, Weston Richey, Raymond “Ray” Gantt, Dylan Curry, and many others. Hopefully, Netflix will acquire streaming rights to other seasons in the future. Of course, you can count on us to let you know if the streamer does add more seasons.
You can stream Love Island USA seasons 1-3 on Paramount+. However, you’ll need a subscription to the service to gain access to the episodes. If you’re looking for the fourth season, you’ll need to head on over to Peacock to watch it. But, again, you’ll have to have a subscription to Peacock to watch the show.
It’s unknown how long Netflix will carry the reality series on its platform, so we suggest watching the first season as soon as possible.
