You season 2, episode 7 didn’t just feature Love Quinn shouting, “Joe who?!” (she didn’t really, but she could have!). When Love’s new love interest, Milo, was introduced, we were all eyes and ears. Who is Andrew Creer and where else does he star?
Creer is fairly fresh to the scene. He has starred in Hurt and Lethal Weapon, but his breakout role is definitely Milo on Netflix’s You. After all, not just anyone can steal Penn Badgley’s spotlight. And as much as love Badgley, there are a few reasons why we approve of Milo getting all the attention.
We will begin with the obvious: Milo isn’t a serial killer. When your boyfriend isn’t obsessive and a murderer, that’s always a plus wouldn’t you say? Milo doesn’t become obsessed with the first cute gal he sees and begin to stalk anyone he believes he is falling for.
Milo genuinely cares about Love and is even willing to move to her city in order to be closer to Love. It does seem like Milo is rushing into things, but we soon learn that they have a past and he does appear to want to give Love the time to decide if this can finally work out.
What Milo doesn’t have, however, is any interest in getting along with Forty, and that, as Love tells him, can be a deal breaker. Love is quick to tell Milo that she and Forty are a packaged deal. Milo seems to understand and try his best to keep the peace between the trio, but Forty pushes Milo’s buttons like no other.
Audiences also love how Milo tells it like it is. His final words to Love are harsh, sure, but someone had to say them! She and her twin brother Forty are way too co-dependent on each other and it is unhealthy. Love needs to live her own life and not babysit Forty so much.
Unfortunately, Love was not ready to hear that. At least not yet. So Milo was out of the picture as quickly as he appeared in it. Hey, at least we’ve all met our new celebrity crush in Creer!
Expect to see more of Andrew Creer as he is set to star on several projects in the coming year. Some of these include A Thousand Little Cuts, Dweller, and Break Free.
