‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ actor Tyler Sanders is no longer alive among us. He was a teen actor best known for his role in Amazon’s “Just Add Magic: Mystery City,” as well as an appearance on the Fox crime drama “9-1-1: Loan Star”.
Sanders was found dead at his home on the 16th of June 2022. The Emmy Nominated actor was just 18.
At the time, it was rumored that Sanders died from the COVID-19 vaccine as he had been vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna.
However, his actual death reason hasn’t been released until an autopsy report obtained by NBC News on December 29.
Tyler Sanders’ cause of death has been public six months after his demise
An autopsy report obtained from the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner declared that Tyler Sanders died from an overdose of fentanyl.
Six months after his death, an autopsy revealed Sanders “had a history of drug use,” and noted that his death was accidental. A day before his death, Tyler reportedly sent a text message to a friend, telling them he was using fentanyl.

As soon as Tyler sends a text to a friend, his friend tries to contact him however, he did not answer phone calls. The report stated that the medical examiner found several drugs on his body including heroin, cocaine, LSD, mushrooms, and Xanax.
During an investigation, police also found a plastic strap and white powder in his room and apparent illicit drugs in his bathroom.
Family members are mourning over the loss of their beloved Tyler Sanders
After the cause of death was revealed, Sanders’ parents each released statements on losing their son to drug use.
His father, David Sanders, said to NBC News in a heartbreaking statement,
“Tyler was an ambitious, hard-working actor who was dealing with deep and persistent depression. Although actively seeking treatment, Tyler struggled to find relief and chose to experiment with drugs. Tyler fell into drug use, not as a way to have fun socially,”
“But rather as an attempt to overcome his profound mental health struggle. While we continue to mourn his death, we are determined to share Tyler’s story in hopes of furthering the conversation around this pervasive issue.”
Similarly, Tyler’s mother Ginger went on to express,
“Losing Tyler due to fentanyl poisoning has been incredibly difficult. I want others to understand that we are a family much like all other families who never thought this could happen to us. Tyler had a strong support system and still could not overcome his persistent depression. Perhaps because of his depression,”
She continued,
“Tyler sought out deep connections and to bring those around him joy. While Tyler quietly fought his inner battles, he was outwardly determined to make sure no one felt as he did. Tyler loved the Lord, loved people and did his best every day. It is our sincere prayer that our story might save others.”
